We have another great coaching staff lined up for the 2012 season and we also have a unique twist to add to the mix. Ashley Blanchette will be our Head Coach. Ashley is currently swimming on scholarship for the University of New Mexico, is a five time high school All-American (breaststroke). She has been an assistant coach at Deerfield in the past. We are very excited to have her talent and enthusiasm at Encino Park now. Our Assistant Coach will be Erin Bennett. Erin, a resident of Encino Park, has been a senior lifeguard and team leader at our pool for four years. She has taught both swim lessons and private lessons and been a WSI Head Swim Instructor. Erin also brings strong leadership skills and a very fun spirit to the team. Our unique twist to the coaching staff this year is that are hiring Mike Sansavera, former EPST Head Coach and current Reagan High School Coach, as a coaching mentor to not only enhance the skills of our two coaches but to also help us start an internship program to train interested swimmers on becoming coaches (details to follow soon).

TEAM REQUIRMENTS: Swimmer must be at least 5 years old and no older than 18 on June 1, 2012.  Swimmer must be able to swim the length of the pool by the end of the 2^nd week of practice.  The Head Coach makes the final decision regarding the swimmers’ ability.  If the coach decides a swimmer does not meet the requirement, registration fee will be refunded in full.

FEES:  $85 per child for EP Residents; $110 per child for Non EP Residents.  The 4^th child and above in any family will be charged only half of the registration fee.  Cash and checks payable to EPHOA are accepted.

LATE FEE:  A $25/swimmer late fee applies to all registrations after April 7, 2012.
REFUND POLICY:  50% of the registration fee is refundable if you withdraw from the team on or before May 15, 2012.  There are no refunds after May 15, 2012

DONATION: Each swimmer must donate one 12 pack of either water, Coke, Diet Coke, Dr. Pepper or Sprite.  These will be used at our home meets concession stand.

Practice begins on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 and the season ends on July 1, 2012 with our championship meet. Our end of season party will be held on Monday July 2.
